Shopping on a Budget

Each day new items are shelved, and endless possibilities for shoppers arise. Imagine going into a store with something new every day. These items may not be brand new, but to thrifty shopper this isn’t a problem.

Finding a new pair of jeans can be hard enough, and finding jeans on a budget can be even worse. The Goodwill offers shoppers an opportunity to find jeans at a decent price.

A pair of jeans at a trend store like American Eagle can cost a shopper almost $50. While some stores are expensive, the Goodwill offers jeans and other clothing from $3.49 and up.

To some shoppers the fact that their clothes were previously worn might be a bit uneasily. For others the worn in feeling only adds character to clothing.

Helpful Tips When Thrift Store Shopping:
o    Always try on your clothes.
•It might say a size medium, but it’s used, and might be bigger or smaller.
o    Make sure to fully look over your items.
•Make sure there are no seams coming undone, or stains.
o    Don’t get discouraged.
•New items are brought out every day. Some days will have better selection then others.

The Goodwill and Salvation Army offer shoppers not only a place to shop on a budget, but a place to donate their old clothes. Thrift stores are one way to reduce, reuse, and recycle clothing.

Thrift stores offer many opportunities for people shopping on a budget. With a little ambitious, and patience a shopper can find some great clothing that is just right for them.
